Overview
The Buchholz indentation tester is a reliable, standardized way to evaluate the hardness of plastically deformable coatings — helping manufacturers control curing and film quality on industrial, wood and plastic coatings. Operation is refreshingly simple: rest the tool on the surface for thirty seconds, then measure the indentation length to obtain an objective Buchholz hardness value. A stainless-steel block with tungsten-carbide tool and support ensures standard-compliant dimensions and weight (ISO 2815) and long-term durability for consistent, repeatable results.
