Overview
Zahn cups are immersion-type viscosity cups — fast and convenient for on-site or in-line checks. You simply dip the cup into the liquid, lift it out and time how long it takes to drain through the bottom orifice; the efflux time (seconds) reflects the sample's viscosity. With a handy wire loop and a durable stainless-steel body, the Zahn cup is a familiar tool for quick viscosity control of paints and inks. The set comes in several sizes (#1 – #5) for different viscosity ranges, per ASTM D4212. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
