Overview
byko-visc CP is the cone-and-plate viscometer in BYK-Gardner's byko-visc series, determining the absolute viscosity of small samples with high precision. Its high-shear-rate method reflects how paints and inks actually behave when brushed, rolled or sprayed — conditions where high-shear viscosity is what matters. Needing only a small sample, quick to run and reliable, it is ideal for QC on automotive paints, printing inks and industrial coatings, complementing the byko-visc DS (in-can) and byko-visc RT (versatile rotational) models. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
