Overview
A material's transparency depends on how it absorbs and scatters light, and is judged by two effects: haze and clarity. As a haze meter to ASTM D1003 and ISO, haze-gard i provides complete transparency control in a single measurement — total transmission, transmission haze and clarity. With high accuracy, outstanding stability and simple operation, it has become the standard for transparency measurement in the glass, plastics, film and packaging industries. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
