Overview
Mottling is an unwanted effect, most visible on light metallic finishes. cloud-runner measures these uneven brightness variations objectively, helping you control and maintain surface uniformity. Its readings stay stable regardless of surface color, part curvature or ambient light — giving objective, reliable data for QC and root-cause analysis. A compact design, simple operation and fast data capture make it the ideal tool for batch approval and production process control. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
