Overview
The ASTM D2486 Gardner-scrub is the base machine supplied with the ASTM D2486 accessory kit — a method that mainly evaluates the scrub-abrasion resistance of interior wall paints. It tests a coating's wet-abrasion resistance to brushes, pads or cleaning solutions, with constant-speed reciprocating motion for high repeatability. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
