byko-drive XL is a highly flexible automatic film applicator for standardized drawdowns of coatings and inks — because dry-film appearance depends strongly on drawdown speed and the pressure on the applicator. A programmable speed from 5 to 500 mm/s (1 mm/s steps) with interchangeable weights delivers consistent film thickness and repeatable results. A touchscreen sets speed, start position and stroke length and stores six routine setups; the platform comes in user-interchangeable vacuum-plate and glass-plate versions — ideal for the lab and quality control. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
