Overview

byko-cut universal is a multi-function destructive coating tester — it measures coating thickness by cutting, and also checks adhesion and hardness. An integrated 50× microscope reads the thickness and reveals surface defects; it measures multi-layer coatings on metal, wood, plastics and other hard substrates. A revolving head holds three thickness cutters (#1–3), with LED illumination and a portable design for field inspection. All BYK‑Gardner instruments supplied by K&K carry a 12-month manufacturer warranty.
